After the Bell Trading Forum Chicago: Opportunities and Challenges in Trading Across Asset Classes: Algos, HFT & Big Data

January 12 th 2012 - The Mid-America Club - Chicago

Today's market has grown increasingly volatile and every day brings different challenges to the trading community. In this ultra-competitive environment, it is critical to keep apprised, if not ahead, of the latest developments in technology, regulations and cross- market opportunities.

After our Chicago events last year where we had 200+ of your Chicago trading colleagues, we listened to what you wanted to hear: How are new regulations going to impact us? What do I need to have in place to start up a prop trading firm successfully? What is the latest and greatest when it comes to the high frequency space? Which asset class will provide the greatest growth opportunities? What type of algorithm will I need? And how will I handle the data needs of my company?

Our After the Bell panel discussions incorporate the "top-of-mind" issues for the trader - whether you're a high frequency trader, starting a prop shop or examining different trading strategies to take your firm to the next level, this event provides real world examples of what's working and why. These panel discussions are a follow on to ones held globally to great response. Held after trading hours so as not to take time away from the desk, these events offer a unique combination of topical discussion and industry networking. Join us on Thursday, January 12th and learn why 1000+ of your industry colleague have attended Mankoff Company events.
