1. Create a shape. In this case select the ellipse tool and press shift on the keyboard, then drag the mouse a couple of inches.
2. Select text and type some text on the screen.
3. Press the mouse on either the text or the shape. Press the shift key. Move the mouse over the other object and select that too.
4. Both objects (text and circle) should be highlighted in blue.
5. Now click on text on the top menu bar. Then click on "attach to path."
6. Done. It should now look like what you see on the picture below.
